TRAVERTINE
Travertine is a sedimentary limestone rock whose colors vary from white , light beige to brown through pink and red. It is often found in hot springs forming layers of deposits such as travertine terraces that can be seen in Turkey. It is a material of extraordinary durability helped build magnificent monuments, the most famous of them being the Coliseum.
One of the distinguishing features is its visible travertine honeycomb texture after sawing and we recorks or not depending on the desired use. Several finishes are then possible depending on the desired use : antique, brushed, honed, polished, carved, sanded, and many others ..
Travertine is a material "contact" which by its color a heat rebroadcasts it in our living spaces. It is even said that the travertine has properties purifying air in indoor spaces.

BASALT
Basalt is the main constituent of the upper layer of the oceanic crust (which can go up to 86miles deep!). Stone of volcanic or magmatic called volcanic rock, basalt quarries from volcanoes have been extinct for millions of years. This is in contact with air or water as the washing solidified , more or less slowly, forming different types of lava rocks ( basalt, andesite, .. ) This term comes from the Egyptian language ''becken" designating a dark stone. Indeed basalt is usually light gray (usually " andesite", a close neighbor of basalt) to dark gray, up to black anthracite. It is natural without no adjustments!
The very hard basalt stone, similar to granite on its characteristics. Texture, moreover, differs slightly from that of the granite in that it has sharp edges and more or less pronounced depending on the type and origin of basalt. Its millions of micro holes allow it to breathe whatever the temperature changes.
Shades of basalt make a material that fits very well in simple and modern styles, both inside and outside. Its uniform color is preferred by architects, who often associate with trendy steel creations. It is also found in individuals in the form of paving, cobblestones and decorative aggregates. Recent years basalt also a remarkable entry in kitchens and bathrooms trends.

MARBLE
The marble, marbled latin , a metamorphic rock is obtained by processing a limestone heated by magma . As with all stones , millions of years are required for its formation. The purity of marble depends on the diversity of colors and the color palette , which usually varies from white to black , passing through green, red, ribbed in clouds aspects, " mottling " ( due to metal oxides ) or variegated .
Marble, is definitely THE most prestigious material used in the construction and decoration since the beginning of the human era . It is the symbol of extreme refinement in terms of decoration . Just back into the history of peoples to better perceive : the Acropolis, the Hagia Sophia ( Constantinople ), the David of Michelangelo , the Château de Versailles of Louis XIV , the Taj Mahal in India. . the marble is everywhere at the heart of the most prestigious civilizations.
Often perceived as an expensive material and used especially in architecture and sculpture marble finds many applications in today's habitats , including flooring, staircases, fireplaces . It is also often used as a decorative element in the bathroom, where it can be worked in both a modern and classic style.

GRANITE
Granite is a crystalline rock formed by an assembly of crystals of feldspar, quartz and mica. It is an igneous rock that comes from slow cooling and crystallization of magma deep within the earth (dated about 400 million years ago). Side shades, colors may vary from light gray to black, with color shades as varied as pink, red, white or blue.
Granites are formed under high pressure into the lower layers of the Earth, so they are harder stones and therefore more wear resistant than other materials such as marble. Loaded quartz , they are very recommended for coatings kitchen or bathroom for their almost zero absorbtion and resistance to abrasion and scratches. Such as basalt, granite is also one of the most difficult to work for stone carvers materials.
Its indoor use is unlimited, it is also found outside in very different formats: paving gardens, Japanese fountain gardens, or palisades.

SLATE
Slate is a metamorphic rock belonging to the family of shales. It is distinguished by the quality of the grain, very thin and flaky internal structure that make it a truly unique stone. Its color can vary from white to black, through blue, gray, purple, copper brown, green and color "rust" with metallic reflections .
Material traditionally used to cover roofs, slate is now a trendy material for interior decoration. Warm and soft stone is used as flooring and walls, very strong and original. It also occurs more often in kitchens worktops or in the bathroom because of its natural non-slip qualities and faculties
impermeability generally reinforced by the treatments applied after the shaping.
Slate is easy to clean coating and provide key design and authenticity to all your spaces.
